Janeska’s place was nothing short of amazing and extremely clean. Check in and checkout was a breeze. The home matched the pictures perfectly and the neighborhood was extremely peaceful and safe. The friendly neighbors were a plus! My party of 5 slept comfortably in the four bedrooms and enjoyed the view or the sea every morning. The kitchen made us want to just pick it up and bring it back home with us, it was beautiful. The property is near restaurants, bars, and supermarkets. Old San Juan and Districto T-Mobile are also not far away via Uber. The power went out in many neighborhoods, but no worries, Janeska’s generator kicked in immediately so we were not affected! We absolutely LOVED this property and look forward to booking this property again on our next visit to Puerto Rico.

The place was beautiful . The beach view was amazing. The bedrooms were of a great size for us 7. The only thing I would say was somewhat difficult to do was to cook because the kitchen, dining rooms and living rooms did not have A/C due to the design of the house. It had an open ceiling with no windows or ceiling so the natural air came in as well as other night bugs. Like many families we like to gather together to enjoy dinner or game night but it was too hot to do that in common areas. In addition the ants were terrible but understandably they are everywhere but having ant traps available for guests makes life easier. Lastly, I would recommend a minor upgrade to the shared bathroom. The water was spilling over into our bedroom and almost filled the bathroom floor after showering. Perhaps putting a lip to prevent the water from flowing outside onto the bathroom floor would greatly help. This is of no fault to Janeska but perhaps a design flaw.

The place was super nice and look like the pictures. The common areas of the home do not have ac because the roof is open. So just be aware. The place is beach front but does not have direct access to the beach unless you want to climb on rocks with crabs. Host attempted to charge extra for SHEIN bags I left on the floor and a plate left in one of the rooms when I already paid cleaning fee. There were also not a lot of towels & wash clothes. We only had one towel & wash cloth per person for a five night stay which one inconvenient so you may want to bring your own. Other than that the place was super nice and in a great location

The stay was great, 1 minor issue with a clogged toilet from the previous guest. I messaged janeska and first thing in the morning she had a plumber on site and also showed up to make sure our belongings were not messed with from 3rd party plumber. The house itself was a dream home. The beautiful ocean view from my room had my wife at peace the entire time. The skylight in the middle of the house was amazing. Super clean, and great location.

Think twice before staying in this house because the home looks awesome in pictures because of the open area but be mindful that this comes with extremely hot weather and can feel the heat all throughout the home. Some of the A/Cs in the bedrooms weren’t working so we ended up having to share bedrooms with our friends which was pointless in getting a 4 bedroom house. The toilet in the shared restroom kept clogging as well as the sinks. These type of things should be tested out before guest arrive because it is something that should not be happening.

This was an exceptional location for a girls trip. The view was absolutely speculator and peaceful. Janeska was helpful with organizing transportation and a private chef experience. Some minor issues but she was super attentive. The home was clean and comfortable and was the perfect backdrop for friends of 30+ years to reconnect. The open air concept did make it warm at times but there was a beautiful crosswind that helped. We would definitely recommend.

We found absolute bliss here! I was looking for a place for my family to escape for the holidays and found an absolute gem. This spacious property was pristine, beautifully appointed with a minimalist zen feel. Our family had ample space and privacy. The neighborhood is ultra quiet and secure with no noise aside from the pounding of the ocean waves. We spent the majority of our time just sitting on the veranda and watched the ocean and sky the entire time. It was close to the airport and within walking distance to the market and several nice restaurants. Our host was over the top. She was extremely responsive and attentive. She gave us recommendations for transportation and attractions in the area. She ensured that our family was comfortable and well taken care of and we are grateful for having such a wonderful host! This was an absolute perfect place to recharge and we are looking forward to our next visit.

This is a beautiful beachfront home that make our family of 6 feel right at home. The first 5 days was a dream vacation experience that I hope all families can experience. The last 3 days (not so much) I booked this due to a generator on site but the generator did not work in the outage and it took me a whole day out of my vacay worring about where I was going to safely have my family stay, last minute - with no other vitable options, I decided to stay with no power (to keep family safe) and lost over $300 in fresh caught tuna & groceries - (she refunded $100 for food loss and a %50 for 1 night and %25 for the next) I felt a little sadded by the fact that she could have offered last 2 nights free due to the power outage and no working generator and no other place to stay. All and all I would suggest her home to stay (with a working generator) - the location is great - showers need work -the only other thing that would have made our trip even better would be a BBQ grill on site.

We really wanted to like Janeska’s place, but unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay. Pros: - location right by the ocean is pretty cool Cons: - insanely difficult to get in and out of the home. A ton of codes, padlocks, locks… it was a nightmare. Half the locks didn’t work and we only had one key for 8 people - most of the time uber drivers couldn’t get into the gated community, also a nightmare - common areas were really hot and humid because it’s open air, and wasn’t super clean upon arrival - one bathroom light didn’t work and wasn’t resolved during the trip. Also didn’t have hot water - other bathrooms had really low shower pressure, basically a trickle - some rooms had issue with their AC - didn’t have enough towels for 8 people, more towels weren’t delivered during our trip and we bought extras - WiFi and tvs didn’t work - seriously overwhelming set of check-in instructions - crabs got into the Airbnb We did get late checkout due to the issues but overall bad experience :(

The house is wonderful, we spent an excellent week with the family. It is equipped to go with children and that gave it exceptional warmth. There is a little beach just steps from the house. We found everything we needed for our stay. Janeska always responded to our messages on time. I recommend it.

Janeska was easy to communicate with and responded very quickly. She helped meet all our needs promptly. House has comfortable bedrooms, functioning AC, and an amazing view. Overall, the stay was great. However, there are a couple things that could be improved on to take the stay from great to amazing. 1. The WiFi was not working at all the whole weekend. Makes it difficult for people that would like the option to wrap up work. 2. The rooms get ALOT of BRIGHT SUN starting at 6am. Blackout curtains or complimentary eye masks would be perfect. 3. There is a tiny pool on property - but the jets/ pumps were not working or not turned on. 4. A hammock would be perfect for outdoor 5. Coffee maker did not function well and sugar packets would be nice 6. Most keypads are not functional 7. Label all the clickers!!! So confusing for everyone including Ubers. 8. Complimentary sunblock would be nice Hopefully these issues get addressed bc I would love to stay there again in the future! TY!

Wow! This place was like a private oasis but secretly within bustling san Juan. We couldn’t be happier with our stay. The only thing we would advise future renters is be aware the common area is an open atrium! This place was amazing, such a unique house and perfect for everything we needed. We had 2 adults and 4 kids between the ages of 9 - 15 in our group. Everyone had plenty of space, and it was a perfect setup that had a lot to offer for all of us! The ocean-front location is so rare, and lovely. It's difficult to describe the exact setup, but there is swimmable ocean and a small and very private beach area right within the immediate area of the property. It felt like our own secluded little paradise. I'd love to go back again!

The place is beautiful and perfect once you’re inside. Although it is not in the most walkable area, the privacy and view is amazing and well worth the price. It’s a beautiful place with plenty of space for a larger group or family. The only downside is the gate situation. You are required to take a clicker and physical key to get in/out of the street gate. There is then a lock on the gate outside the home and then the home itself is obviously locked. This all works well to provide safety and privacy but it’s rather annoying to keep up with them. If you only take the clicker, an elder woman on the side of the road will yell at you for not bringing the physical key and using the pedestrian gate on the side. Overall, I would def stay there again but rent a car if for no other reason just so I don’t have to carry multiple keys on my person and let the cab drivers in/out every time they come and go.

The place was amazing. Beautiful scenery and so pleasant to sit outside and watch the waves and the crabs! The host was very helpful with transportation and any concerns we had. The place felt very safe. We walked the couple of blocks to the local gas station and had dinner at the restaurant on the corner. Highly recommend. Bedrooms are very comfortable and cool.

We had a wonderful stay at Janeska’s Oceanside Mansion. The open-structure design really stood out — being able to enjoy nature so closely and see the ocean the moment we opened the windows was simply amazing. My family had a great time relaxing here, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and refreshing. I wouldn’t consider the water pressure a complaint at all since it’s a common issue across Puerto Rico, so it didn’t affect our experience. This place was beautiful and the opening in the ceiling was definitely different. I got excited when it rained because I wanted to see the rain come inside. We had trouble getting the front gate due to the gate code was connected to someone previously. She wasn't far and came to meet us which was nice because we had questions about the house and the area. You could hear the crashing from the waves inside which was nice to listen to. My only complaint would be the jacuzzi water wasn't hot and we had to walk to gate to meet our Uber because the gate code to get in didnt work. Would I stay again ABSOLUTELY. This home made my Birthday trip so much more exciting because of its uniqueness. Janeska was nice and made sure we had everything that we needed.

Amazing place to stay with friends. Ocean view is incredible and the unique open courtyard style is really neat! Janeska is awesome and even granted us a late check out because our flights got delayed! Highly recommend. Only minor negatives were the hot tub not working (which ended up being fine during the day acting as a pool but would have been nice at night). And the guest house sink has almost no water come out and I wasn’t able to get the shower warm at all. Minor though since I was easily able to walk to the main house and use theirs.

Our group of ten was astounded by the breathtaking views and ample space we had the privilege of enjoying. This villa boasts spectacular views and is situated in a serene, gated area that is conveniently drivable within a 10-minute radius of all the essentials you’d need for a trip to San Juan. The villa features two renovated bathrooms and a kitchen, creating a fresh and comfortable atmosphere. Although the laundry room and private master bedroom in a separate building are smaller spaces, they are still a welcome addition. Beach towels were provided but not a usable chairs or umbrellas which we were able to rent in a few local beaches. We had a great experience elevated by our very active host Janeska. Thank you!

Our 4 day stay at Janeshka’s place was overall pleasant. We were a group of 9 ladies on a girls trip to San Juan, and the house served us well in terms of safety, cleanliness, comfort, and beautiful views. The ocean view, jacuzzi, and overall atmosphere made our stay very enjoyable. Janeshka was also responsive and quick to answer. There are few things future guests should know: If your group is larger than 8, some guests will need to stay in a separate upstairs unit. We were also provided only one towel per person for our 4 day stay, so a few extras would have been helpful. The biggest challenge for us was navigating the entry and exit process. There are multiple door codes, gates, and clickers, and the instructions are shared on the day of arrival, which left us a bit confused initially. On our departure day, our Uber driver couldn’t open the community gate and we were stuck for about 45 minutes since the exit gate only opens with vehicles.

The interior décor was modern, clean, and well maintained, and overall the place was very comfortable to stay in. However, it may not be ideal if you plan to use the kitchen extensively. The washer did not work during our stay, and despite notifying the host, there was no resolution. One of the main reasons we booked this place was for the hot tub, which also wasn’t working. We informed the host, but the service person was unavailable, so we couldn’t use it—our kids were especially disappointed. We also had a hard time finding the place, as the instructions mentioned a reddish staircase, but it was actually gray.

The place looks like the pictures, very well decorated and clean. The patio is awesome. Unfortunately, during our stay we were not made aware that we could not use the jacuzzi, I contacted host and she stated had to do with cloudy water and safety. I was told someone would be sent out next day but I was asked the following afternoon to test to see if water was cloudy but my guest and I were out in the rainforest so I didn’t receive the message and jacuzzi stayed emptied and no one came out. Also, be prepared for a lot of noise unit is facing a busy street, cars and motorcycles zoom loudly up and down the street also there is a restaurant and bar below unit that played music loudly until 2am, not sure if it’s just because it was the weekend, the bar website stated it was supposed to close at 12am but music didn’t stop until 2am, definitely bring headphones and inquire about jazucci before booking.

Had trouble locating the place but Janeska was very responsive and helpful! It’s in a very busy area, right next to the Main Street and there’s a bar under, so it can get quite loud at night. If you’re an older person and like quiet time I don’t recommend. Overall it was great !!

We had a pleasant stay overall. The place itself was nice, and we were fortunate enough to be able to use the hot tub, which was a plus. It does get extremely noisy at night, though luckily that wasn’t a huge issue for our group. The location is convenient, directly across from a small plaza with a few stores nearby. Everything during the stay went well. The only downside was being contacted after checkout about a broken glass that our group did not break. Aside from that, it was a nice place to stay.

JANESKA IS AMAZING! Such an amazing, responsive and gracious host. We were originally staying at another AIRBNB in town that was NOT safe and NOTHING LIKE THE LISTING (it was gross), and we booked with her last minute. She immediately responded, ALL the directions were explained perfectly, it's a gated community, VIEWS OF THE OCEAN, and when I tell you this room is clean! It is emmaculate! Perfect for a couple or solo traveler, immaculate room with a private bathroom above the garage. And BTW she provides complimentary snacks and drinks in the mini fridge!!! The location is fabulous, and Janeska was the real star! Our plans fell through and she responded immediately and she saved our trip! Thank you Janeska! Wish we could've stayed another night!

We had trouble getting into the room. A note to guests, find the door code on the Airbnb website and not in the message with instructions. It was little confusing driving in as we couldn't enter the way that google maps wants you to because it's a gated community. Once we were passed that, it was wonderful. Clean room and bathroom. We were able to sit outside and enjoy some coffee from a nearby coffee shop while looking at the ocean view.

Wonderful home to explore a side of Puerto Rico more should. Historic town of Lares is small but packed with history. This home is a short drive from the city center, but entirely isolated from the any bustle. Stunning views right outside the cabin and immersed within nature 10/10. Keep in mind that internet could be finicky. The service was down across the whole town during our stay. Not much of an issue if your plan is to disconnect. Highly recommend and wouldn’t think twice staying again.

Hacienda Escondida, is truly a gem in Puerto Rico if you are looking for tranquility and an escape from city life. The aesthetics of the house are breathtaking from the moment you walk in. It was impeccably clean, which immediately made us feel welcomed and at home. Janeska was incredibly helpful and attentive as a host, making sure we felt comfortable throughout our entire stay. You can truly see her love and care in every detail of this beautifully maintained wooden cabin. Staying here feels like experiencing a piece of Puerto Rico’s history and being surrounded by nature. The location was perfect for us as it was peaceful, private, and away from the noise of the city. I would absolutely rate Hacienda Escondida a 10/10. It’s a must-stay if you want to breathe in the natural beauty and serenity of Puerto Rico.

This is by very far the absolute best Airbnb I've ever stayed at - it's absolutely gorgeous and unique, the surroundings are magical and it's impeccably clean, comfortable and equipped. Communication with the host was 10/10 - super professional and helpful. Book it you won't regret it.

This place was exactly what I needed: peace, quiet, spectacular nature, a clean, spacious place, no one bothers you, but it's not completely secluded either, and a very friendly community. I loved it. For my next visit, I’ll stay longer. It was too short for me, but I really enjoyed it.

The property was clean, but the experience left much to be desired. The host was inflexible about check‑in time, even after I had asked in advance if I could arrive earlier. Throughout the stay the internet didn’t work, and on the second day the water went out, which complicated the visit. The property has a water reserve, but it’s hard to connect at night because it’s far away. At the end I received a message implying that a cable from a piece of equipment we never used was missing, which made me feel uncomfortable and under suspicion. I recommend that future guests, before leaving, document the state of the property and its items with photos or videos to avoid unfair accusations. I would not repeat it.

After arriving at the accommodation, it was very difficult to find where to go. There were no instructions. I entered the main house, went into all the rooms, and they were all dirty. I sent a message to the host and he told me it wasn’t the main house, which was fine, but what if others had been in the main house at that time? Again, there were no instructions of any kind. We reached the suite outside the house and found a lock code, but we were not given a password. I had to send another message to the host. Once inside, it was very hot. There was no air conditioning. Luckily, it only took an hour to cool down. There were no light switches. Finally, I found a remote control. Again, I needed instructions. I tried to go to the bathroom; again there was no light switch, so I had to send a message to the host again. He told me that the light had a remote somewhere around the pool area. After searching for 10 minutes, I found it on top of the mirror. The host provided snacks, which was nice. The next morning, I tried to leave the property; I couldn’t get out and had to send a message to the host. The shower didn’t have hot water, so I had to bathe in cold water.

Very nice and cozy place, the terrace and jacuzzi were a big plus (plus the snacks and drinks that were in the kitchen). Great location with many points of interest nearby (diagonally there’s a taquería called “El Santo” that’s delicious) and they were very kind in responding quickly and letting us in before the scheduled check‑in.

Hidden Hacienda is a historic gem in Puerto Rico; the house’s architecture is impeccable and exceedingly beautiful. The home is surrounded by lush vegetation, making its balconies and interior views truly special. We feel extremely privileged to have had the opportunity to stay at this Airbnb and enjoy the peace it provides. We will definitely return! The house has hot water, which is fantastic given the climate in PR. The Jacuzzi is surrounded by greenery with cooking areas nestled in nature. The terrace next to the kitchen is very spacious and enveloped by nature. My family and I love the house and consider it a very special and beautiful place. We will definitely come back!

Definitely a BEAUTIFUL place. The photos don’t do justice to the beauty of Hacienda Escondida. The cabin is beautiful and masterfully designed to represent a 20th‑century hacienda. The details of the windows, the doorwork, every bit of architecture is incredible, evoking a bygone era. The atmosphere of the place breathes and exhales peace and harmony wherever you look, sit, or walk. The surroundings make you feel as if you’re in a grand garden in harmony with nature. Of course I’ll be back! Everything you need is just a few minutes away—supermarkets, many spots like the Café Lareño hacienda where you can stroll along trails and find unique flowers and flora of the area. The Mirador de Mariana Bracetti offers a view of the entire city from the hilltop, Balcon Mirador and other vistas to the birds at Hacienda La Esperanza also walk in Plaza La Revolución, where you can find the iconic Lares ice cream. And a great place to eat nearby.
